agreement with USTER
TECHNOLOGIES AG, worldwide
leader in
testing
and monitoring instruments for spinning and
weaving. We are present with our own booth
in the 2nd Edition of the APLIMATEC
Exhibition, held in Valencia in mid
May. In the same month, first approach to
the energy market with our presence at the POWER-GEN
EUROPE Exhibition in Barcelona, presenting the
ultimate adiabatic cooling system (fogging) for
the air inlet of the gas turbines. |

Our
position in the automation, internal
transportation and packing sectors is enhanced
this year with the addition of the new agencies
WHY GROUP y NOVOPAC/SERTEMB. Also, our
KLIMATEXTIL Division diversifies its activity to
serve other industrial sectors. |

agreements with the italian manufacturers FLAINOX
and MINNETTI enhance the
company position in the Dyeing and Weave Finishes sectors, in
which we are developing a nice activity with KLIMATEXTIL

which allows to enhance our position in the Non-woven /

will be our deffinitive setting so far, a 3-story refurbished
industrial building in Francesc Tàrrega, 12 with a usable
surface of circa 1.000 sq. meters is purchased that year. The
spare parts warehouse moved to the new location in November,
while the commercial offices remained at the previous location
for a couple more years. |

The
Arco Iris, 54 office has become too small. More agencies have
been arriving, more people has joined the company, and we find
a more spacious office at a nearby location, Ronda del
Guinardó 164, where we will be moving at the end of that

complete spinning plant sold. The company FILATS GONFAUS, S.A., from Berga
(Barcelona) puts its confidence on Josep Fuster for the supply
of the machinery for its new spinning mill. Those were the
first 5.000 spindles sold by our Company. |

the end of the year, the italian company MARZOLI,
manufacturer of short
staple preparation and spinning machinery appoints Josep
Fuster as his sole Agent for the spanish market. |

October
1st. This is the date when the "solo" adventure
begins. First agency agreements. LUMMUS
INDUSTRIES, the cotton ginning machinery
manufacturer worldwide leader, appoints Josep Fuster as his
sole Agent for the spanish market. Other agreements with
spanish and israeli companies in the cotton ginning sector
will follow soon. Opening of the first offices, located in
Arco Iris, 52, Barcelona. |
